Fundraising

We hold various fundraisers for the ZTA Foundation throughout the year. Proceeds from these events go to breast cancer research and sponsor scholarships to help young women realize their educational goals and dreams for their future.

Throughout the last year we have raised over $1,000 for the ZTA Foundation!!

Here are a few highlights from our 2011-2012 fundraising year!

Our first annual “Nashville’s Own Think Pink for a Cause” was a great success!  Three of Nashville’s finest songwriters performed their songs at the Tin Roof on Demonbruen in April.  Songs like “No shoes, No shirt, No problems”, “Beautiful Mess”, “Homeboy”, “Live a Little”, and “Boys of Fall” were just a few of the country hits that our guest songwriters performed!

Thank you to all who came and for supporting the ZTA Foundation!

The Nashville ZTA Alumnae works in partnership with McDougal’s for fundraising every year. The manager of their Hillsboro Village store, Rachel, is a Colony Member from Iota Chi at MTSU. Every October, Rachel gives us a day to “Think Pink” at McDougal’s. The staff puts signage up on their patio, in the store, and hanging from the roof of their restaurants. The restaurant even showcases some ZTA memorabilia in their stores. The fundraiser has even been showcased in Themis.

This year the date was Thursday, October 20th and we want to say THANK YOU to Rachel and the McDougal’s staff for another successful Think Pink Event!

This year along with McDougal’s in the village, we worked with Dave’s BBQ! Nashville Zeta Alumnae received 10% of the sales from each receipt turned in for Zeta.  Three locationas participated, Hermitage, Cool Springs and Smyrna, on October 13th from 11am – 8pm.

THANK YOU to Dave’s BBQ for all your support and we look forward to partnering again in the future!

Please send Dana Clegg, our fundraising chair, an e-mail if you want more information about our fundraisers or if you have any ideas for a future fundraiser.
