If you would like to learn a little bit more about what we do from month to month as a chapter, read the descriptions below. We send Evite invitations based on the interest group so that we don’t invite you to join us at events where you might not find someone with similar interests.

 

There will be at least one general meeting each month – rotating between restaurants, members’ homes, and other venues (like painting your own pottery or some other fun place). The Evite invitations go out to all of the Nashville Area alumnae who have provided us with their email address.

Get out of the office and eat lunch with your ZTA sisters and make some new friends – maybe even find a new job!  We choose a different restaurant in a different area of town each month to give people in different parts of town to participate. Evites go out to all of the Nashville Area alumnae on our e-mail list.

Mommy and Z is a playgroup geared toward our members with small children. Events are held both during the week and on the weekends to accomodate both stay-at-home and working Zeta moms. Evite invitations only go to ZTAs who have subscribed for this distribution list.

Avoid the evening rush-hour traffic and chill out with your ZTA sisters for a while.  These events are drinks and dinner at some of the more “hip” venues in the Nashville Area. Loyalty Link events are targeted at alumnae out of school five years or less. Evite invitations go to all of the Nashville Area alumnae on our distribution list.

We volunteer to distribute the backsigns for the runners and walkers each year, as well as help with the Survivor Tent. If you would like to help work at Race for the Cure, please let us know. We send an “all call” email for volunteers each year, but a targeted distribution list is created to help our chairs communicate with the volunteers.

Throughout the year, we participate in various Think Pink events to promote breast cancer awareness and education, including ZTA’s pink ribbon distribution partnership with the NFL and a Think Pink night with the Predators.
