Welcome to the home page for the Nashville Alumnae Area Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha, serving alumnae in the counties surrounding Nashville, Tennessee.  If you are new to the area or if you have been here for years we would love to have you all the same!  Please check out our News & Announcements section for current activites.  You will find updates on the new Vanderbilt University Collegiate Chapter and how you can get involved!

Chartered in 1956, the Nashville Alumnae Chapter is a group of women ranging in age from recent college graduates to grandmothers. We are a diverse group – some of us are single, some of us are married, some of us are divorced. Some of us have kids, others don’t. We have women who work full-time, some who work part time and others who stay at home with their children. There is room for all alumnae to keep ZTA close to their hearts.

We hold meetings and events for members in various locations the Nashville area. Some events are held at restaurants and other locations in the city, while others are held in members’ homes. We strive to make events kid-friendly so that you can come have fun with us, even when you don’t have someone to watch your children. We don’t want them – especially legacies – to hold you back from carrying on your love for ZTA. We even have a Mommy and Z program with events specifically for alumnae and their children to enjoy.

We work to give back to the ZTA Foundation with various fundraisers. We volunteer in the community by working with and participating in the Nashville Race for the Cure and by doing a Think Pink event with the Tennessee Titans and the Nashville Predators. We also sponsor many alumnae-collegiate activities with the Iota Chi chapter at MTSU and will be busy in 2012 with the new collegiate chapter at Vanderbilt University! 

While many of us are from Nashville, many others have traveled many miles to make the Nashville Area their home. Keeping ZTA in our lives has really helped many of our members adapt to their new location.
